All about IIT-JEE (Mains & Advance) at Bothra
JEE Main
-First challenging exam and only those students who prove their mettle in this examination are allowed to appear for JEE(Advanced)-the next stage.
-Gateway for Engineering aspirants to 31 NIT’s, 20 GFTI’s, IIIT’s and other centrally funded technical institutions.
-Single choice objective paper (MCQ) containing 75 questions, with equal weightage given to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-Held every year twice tentatively in the month of January & April.Best of two is selected.
JEE Advanced
-Gateway entrance test for admissions to IIT’s & IISc Only top 20% successful candidates of JEE Main are eligible
-Two objective Online papers, each of three hours duration with equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
-The JEE Advanced exam is held every year tentatively in the last week of May or 1st week June.
